Baritone and Euphonium Scales

Playing Scales is REALY GOOD Practise for all players.

The more you do it, the more your fingers get used to different keys, the "easier" everything else gets.

If you only have a short time to Practise. Run through some scales.

These Scales are based on the Keys and Speed of the scales set out by The ABRSM Board and we have added a simple backing track to help you play along and keep in time.

There are in fact three types of Minor Key. Natural, Harmonic and Melodic. For the time being all the minor scales here are 'Harmonic' as (big generalisation) it is the one most used in popular music and also the one most likely to be acceptable in an exam.

Note: If you are studying for an exam make sure you check the up to date syllabus. Things may have changed.

Have Fun

Music is always better when you're having FUN

When you want to play along with the band press the play button above the scale you wish to play

PLEASE NOTE: There is a short pause after you tap PLAY before the 'one bar intro' starts this is deliberate to give you time to get ready to play (two bar into on chromatic scales).
