Paradise Beach Percussion Band

Lesson 3 A Bit More Latin

Here we have some more rhythm exercises written for a variety of percussion instruments.
Once again in this particular case it doesn't really matter which instrument you play for which line, in fact it is fun to try different combinations

As always clap through first to learn how it goes, then listen to the track and follow along with the music, to make sure you are correct.

Then join in and play along with the track.

As percussion players we often have to play a lot of repeats, and we have to get used to lots of bars looking very similar.
So when you feel happy playing along with the "Play once" move on to the "Play 4 times" and see of you get to the end at the same time as the track.

Once you have mastered all of the instruments there own lets try playing with the others.
At the bottom of the page there is a copy of all the instruments playing together.
See if you can play along and keep your place with everyone else.

whatch out for the speed change on the play 4 times
