This is our Second recorder lesson. Here we have a picture showing the fingering for our Second note "A".
As with "B", Cover the hole on the back of your recorder with your left thumb.
Cover the first hole on the front of your recorder with the first finger of your left hand.
Now cover the second hole on the front of your recorder with the second finger of your left hand.
Place the thumb of your right on the back
of your recorder behind the forth hole. Place the recorder to your lips and blow gently.
We are going to play a new tune with a different rythmn.
Two Medium length notes, two short notes, and one medium.
4 beats rest
Play another two Medium length notes, two short notes, and one medium.
and another 4 beats rest.
Then medium, short, short, medium, rest.
Medium, short, short, medium, rest.
Then 5 medium notes, 1 beat rest and a long note to finish.
